We live in a world that competes for our attention: sports, television, media entertainment of every imaginable type and kind. Everywhere we look, things are designed to appear as though our help is not needed. Doors are closed. Telephones go on answered. Our young people our encouraged to believe that their assistance is trivial. And they have come to believe they don't fit in anywhere. They become slaves to video Games and social media because there are no active outlets in which they might serve. This is how our young people learn. Without these outlets their skill sets are severely limited.

It is with human interaction that young people begin to discover where their own gifts and talents. What is a desire to navigate and explore if they never speak to a pilot or a boat captain? How is a love for music to bloom, if they never hold an instrument? Growth comes with the ability to speak to and interact with people from different walks of life. Children are intellectually alive! They have a spark for learning and readily absorb new information !

WE BELIEVE:

  1. That GOD is not answerable to us but that WE are answerable to God;
  2. That there are mysteries in this world that will not be revealed until we come face to face with the creator of the universe;
  3. That it is not prudent for us to attempt to circumvent the will of God either in our lives nor in our world;
  4. That by accepting the sovereignty of God and the deity of Christ Jesus we will find peace in a world seemingly devoid of peace;
  5. That anger should be given no place in us and, thus, it can and should be acknowledged and then dismissed will lead to a calmer heart and more peaeful world, knowing that God can provide the 'Peace that surpasses understanding."
  6. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
  7. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
  8. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
  9. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
  10. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
