Advocacy

We, as Christians, are directed to help others. As we have gained a great deal of expertise in this area of life, we invite questions both from those who need an advocate and those who would like to serve as advocates.

This area of ministry applies to a wide range of life issues that range the gamut, quite literally, from cradle to grave. As we pass through this life, we discover many areas in which we're not familiar and it is helpful to speak to those who have traversed the paths we' walk in their own lives.

We seek to serve others because faith should be a conduit for believers in Christ to help others. We believe this is not only important but a critical aspect of living a life of faith, gracing both those that serve and those who need assistance and find it within the Christian community.

Today, the need in the world is vast -- while obtaining assistance is difficult if not impossible to accomplish. We seek to work as missionaries to our own people, assisting others in discovering areas of service that will change lives.

WE BELIEVE:

  1. That GOD is not answerable to us but that WE are answerable to God;
  2. That there are mysteries in this world that will not be revealed until we come face to face with the creator of the universe;
  3. That it is not prudent for us to attempt to circumvent the will of God either in our lives nor in our world;
  4. That by accepting the sovereignty of God and the deity of Christ Jesus we will find peace in a world seemingly devoid of peace;
  5. That anger should be given no place in us and, thus, it can and should be acknowledged and then dismissed will lead to a calmer heart and more peaeful world, knowing that God can provide the 'Peace that surpasses understanding."
  6. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
  7. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
  8. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
  9. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
  10. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
